xtraCHEF Pro pricing from Toast’s plan list. Confirm in your Toast shop. MenuForge connects to Toast the same as it does any other live integration: over the Toast API for menus and sales. It is not an add-on that lives inside Toast’s website, and it does not require Toast to cost recipes.
Where MenuForge is the better fit
You want the invoice to update pack costs, and you also want AI to draft a special against the pantry. You run Toast, or you do not. Either way you do not want to pay $279 / loc or sit through a Toast demo to get recipe costing.
Where xtraCHEF may fit better
You want AP automation and inventory that live inside Toast’s own website, not a separate app that talks to Toast over the API. That is their job. It is not cheaper, and it does not write the dish.
