How it works

1. Send the invoice. Forward the distributor email or upload a photo or PDF.
2. AI reads the lines. Item, pack size, quantity, and price are pulled from each line and matched to a pantry ingredient. Vendor item numbers help it match the same product next time.
3. You confirm the leftovers. Anything AI could not place waits for you. Match it once and MenuForge remembers.
4. Costs flow through. The new pack price lands on the ingredient with a dated price history, and every recipe that uses it recosts.

What you get out of the invoice history

• Price-change alerts. See the items whose pack price jumped since the last invoice.
• Price trends. Chart pack cost over time and spot creep in oils, proteins, and produce before the P&L does.

What it does not do
